My 2024 artwork Afterlife has been longlisted for the Visual Art Open 2025!

I submitted it for consideration in October of 2024. From the VAO site:
The VAO Art Prize offers unparalleled exposure and an opportunity for artists to sell their artwork to an audience of over a million art collectors and enthusiasts alike. A prize fund of over £10,000 includes cash prizes, exhibition opportunities and career development support in partnership with the Visual Artists Association. 

There is a cash prize, and there is no voting in this event. The long listed artists have been notified and then the next stages are:

• Finalists Announced: Late August 2025
• Winners Announced: October 2025 Finalist Show
• Finalist Show: 9th-12th October (Final Date TBC)

The final show will take place within or adjacent to the Other Art Fair in London. I am beyond thrilled to have been considered and have my fingers crossed and/und meine daumen gedrückt to get to the shortlisted/finalists stage! It would be lovely to get to the Other Art Fair in London in October.
