The images here may seem unremarkable to some, but those people have never been to Tokyo. To me, these are astounding sights. It is a rare day when Takeshita Dori is empty, and even stranger still to see Godzilla street minus human activity.
During this strange time, I have made it my duty to try to document the spaces that I could easily access via a (sometimes very long) walk. These are morning shots, but don’t let that sway you: on a normal day in Tokyo, the streets are crowded in the early hours, too.
Digital and film, Canon EOS M5 and Mamiya C330.
